My background is in television news, creative writing, management, public speaking and business development. My expertise is communicating verbally and visually. My passion is aggressive investigative reporting, for which I’ve won numerous national, regional and state awards.
I’ve held a number of leadership positions in my career, managing news crews, staffs and budgets. I’ve managed editorial boards, produced and written documentaries, produced and hosted a live, daily, 30-minute talk show. I’ve also produced telethons, anchored and reported newscasts, and line produced news shows.

Frequently managed as many as 15 stories simultaneously in different stages of development and completion.

·Worked closely with the station's attorneys to understand all legal issues and minimize any legal liability. ·Anchored and “show produced” the weekend news at KOTV in Tulsa from 1981-84. Co-anchored weekend news at WPLG-TV in Miami from 1988-94 and co-anchored various morning and evening shows as a substitute anchor at WHDH-TV in Boston from 1994-97.

Nominated for five additional Emmys. An Edward R. Murrow Award for an investigation into the Federal government’s oversight of the Au Pair program. The Sunshine State Award presented by the Society of Professional Journalists for investigative reporting on corruption in the Miami-Dade public school system.
